They are used to make the joints on the tape. Ensure a perfect contact between all the wires of stainless steel, improving the qualities of the current. If you notice a spark from a thread to another, fear not: cut the ribbon and put a buckle. You will have re-established good electrical connection. The splicer buckle allows the slack in the tape and to connect with the connectors to bring electricity properly.
