Can only be laid on hard surfaces. It is the only product in the world that was developed SPECIFICALLY as a horse-bedding mats.

Mat130 Interlocking Semi Draining Rubber Mats

Interlocking stable mats are quick to self lay and secure, temporarily or permanently, making them the ideal solution for a high-quality, easily laid complete stable bed.  Their underside design ensures great softness whilst their top surface is non slip and hard wearing. The interlocking stable mats are very easy to self lay and when laid present a neat, professional looking hard wearing, soft, warm surface. The interlocking rubber stable mats can be laid on any hard surface (even one breaking up) without pre-preparation and their flexibility ensures that they will conform to all undulations or unevenness. They are an ideal ‘budget’ stable mat and horses lie down happily on what, to them, is a soft surface that will not scrape their hocks. The thicker mat makes a smell free and easily cleaned, large dog bed of unrivalled comfort. The rubber stable mats have two interlocking male edges and two adjacent female interlocking edges. They require only 1-2 buckets of absorbent litter to obviate staling splash.

Mat8 - Slip Resistant Stable Mats

The MAT8 is a budget version of the MAT2. The MAT8 has slip resistant surfaces. It provides good under mat drainage as well as providing more softness than solid rubber mats. It is considerably softer than all cow mats and does evacuate any liquid that may collect underneath very well.

The MAT8 is ideal as a soft, warm, cost effective and easily handled alternative to conventional bedding. They are ideal for use in mobile and static field shelters, wet pathways and muddy gateways as their legs key into the mud and lock into the earth, locking the mats in place, whilst excluding the rain that normally turns the earth into mud.

In various thickness' these rubber mats and sheets are fully vulcanised rubber and very hard wearing and will not readily break down from urine infestation or heavy wear. They can be used anywhere where a soft, warm surface is desired. For equine use it is not necessary to have big thick, unmanageable sheets. For this reason we have them made to a practical thickness and size to be easy handling whilst remaining stable when down. All our rubber mats are formed solely by vulcanisation with no bulking or binding agents.

Mat5 Honeycomb Mats

The MAT5 mat is a series of holes surrounded by fully vulcanized latex, or latex/Nitrile mix. It is flexible, hardwearing and long lasting. The holey mats (Or ring mats, honeycomb grass protection mats) come in two thickness’, three sizes and three grades. The honeycomb mats are ideal for allowing new grass growth on poached areas, reducing mud in heavily used gateways, creating slip free pathways, grass protection, or for containing gravel. Because the honeycomb grass protection mats (Ring mats) are flexible, they can be laid straight onto existing grass, or hard standing with no pre-preparation. They are totally non slip in any weather making them ideal for use as muddy gateway mats.
The smaller honeycomb mats are ideal for muddy gateways or poached ground and can be re-sited easily. The larger ones, once laid, are difficult to move as earth builds up inside the holes and makes the mat very heavy indeed. The heavy duty mats are less flexible and should be laid where the earth is very soft, or when regularly used by vehicles.
An alternate method of laying mats on very muddy ground is to level the area and lay turfs then lay the mats on top. The mats will protect the newly laid turf and allow it to take while the turfs will support the mats.
